Building Brighter Beginnings: Riverfields Foundation and Partners to Open New ECD Centre
The Riverfields Foundation, together with its partners Equites and the The Michel Lanfranchi Foundation, is proud to present the development of a brand-new Early Childhood Development (ECD) Centre, opening 1 March 2026.
This exciting project marks a major milestone in Riverfields’ vision to create a connected, inclusive community where families can live, learn, and grow together. The new ECD Centre will provide a safe, nurturing space for young children to play, learn, and discover — laying the foundation for lifelong learning and opportunity.
Developed in partnership with Oasis Club, a respected leader in early childhood education, the project combines world-class educational standards with deep community focus. Oasis Club will guide curriculum design, staff training, and ongoing quality assurance, ensuring that the centre not only meets but exceeds national early learning standards.
Over the next three years, the ECD Centre aims to:
- Deliver high-quality early education aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and CAPS.
- Equip teachers and support staff through structured training and mentorship.
- Operate sustainably and independently through community-driven initiatives.
Serve as a blueprint for future centres within the wider community.
Further Support is Needed
The Riverfields Foundation invites individuals, businesses, and community partners to join this transformative project. Your contribution — whether through funding, resources, or expertise — will directly impact the lives of young children and families within our community.
Construction and preparations are already underway, with the Riverfields Foundation overseeing infrastructure development and Oasis Club providing educational leadership and expertise.
Set to open its doors on 1 March 2026, the Riverfields ECD Centre will stand as a testament to what’s possible when business, community, and education come together — building brighter beginnings for generations to come.
